This animation is the final project for Digital Sculpting for Facial Animation, which is a lip sync animation of the Joker from the movie The Dark Knight. The face was modeled from my own face using Mudbox, and the mouth shapes were created as blend shapes in Maya. (Maya, Mudbox)

“Intro to 3D Computer Animation” Final Project: How to Make a Hippo Sandwich (NYU, December 2016)

This animation is the final project for Intro to 3D Computer Animation, which animates a short poem “Recipe For A Hippopotamus Sandwich” by Shel Silverstein. This animation implements a combination of basic techniques: modeling, rigging, keyframe animation, cloth/spring/particle simulation, and lighting. (Maya)

“Communications Lab” Final Project: Hologram Box (NYU Shanghai, May 2016)

This is the final project for Communication Lab, which referenced 3D hologram with phone to create an animation designed for this hologram. If played, audience will see the video floating in the air. The playing machine was an iPad, and the black box was designed to have the best viewing experience. (After Effects, Unity3D)

“Communications Lab” Midterm Project: Flappy Bird (NYU Shanghai, March 2016)

This stop animation adapted the popular game Flappy Bird into real life NYU Shanghai context, where all the blocks the bird needed to pass become the textbooks of courses. The bird, like NYU Shanghai students, tried to pass all the blocks, but fails at the most difficult core course: Global Perspectives on Society. (Claymation, Premiere Pro)
